It was colder at the end of the day, so I put on a third robe. By the way, he thought, in the future, for the monks to store three robes, it would be enough to prevent the cold, not to allow more storage. Again, one day the Buddha was traveling to the south of Vuong Xa citadel, and when he came to That Diep cave, he saw that the fields were straight and the embankment was straight. He looked at the venerable Ananda and said: "The robes of the Tathagatas in the three generations are like this. Like this, he asked Ananda to tell the monks to make the same robe. Must know this is the long thing, this is the short thing, this is the leaf, this is the sewing, this is the first seam, this is the second seam, this is the middle seam, these two things point towards the sign of the body. y. Must be like a field, if this robe produces merit, He also works in a field of blessing for the world, and uses a knife to cut open the city so that it won't be robbed by the invaders. Y An Da Hoi is four hand long and two hand wide; Y Ut Da La Sang, Sang Gia Le Le is five hand long, three hand wide, the number of hands is unlimited. The Buddha taught that depending on the body, the amount, the y leaf, the widest is four fingers, the narrowest is barley cotton, but the needle must be sewn back to the front. Or be lucky like a horse's teeth, or sew like a bird's foot to prevent ashes from flying in, some of which are unlucky, which means leaving a gap, like the edge of a field with precious water flowing out, the outline of four fingers. hands for sewing the hook, then eight fingers for sewing the button. If the three robes are torn but the edges are not chipped, they will still not lose the Dharma life, if they are damaged, they will be patched according to the large and small square holes, if they are as big as two fingers, if they are broken, they will be brought into the collection. If you are lost, you commit a crime of Tu Kiet La, if you enter a secular house without buttoning it, you enter each house and commit a crime of Tu Kiet La, if it is torn at the bottom, you can wear it upside down. Buttons should be sewn on the bottom (hook). While on the road, for the sake of protecting and preserving the leaves, you should put them on your shoulders. When you enter a gathering, you must dress neatly. Every monk, wherever he is, must always carry his bowl and robe, such as a bird with two wings, such as meeting the Buddha, worshiping the Buddha, visiting two teachers, entering them... he should show his right shoulder; If you go to assistant boys, sit in meditation, chant sutras, or enter the gathering place, you should cover your shoulders to reveal the blessing of the field. The three yrs are collectively called casa, which is the name of a species of grass. Because it was used to dye him, the world named him casa. The interpreters have many names, but they are all translations, and such translations are not correct. His body is made of cloth, fur, silkworm mouth are things that should not be used. When it comes to rupa, we use the three types of rupa, not the five major rupa. If you take the Yield of Salvation and gain from a wrong life, even if you have a dharma, you will not be able to achieve a dharma life. The time limit for great medicine is five days to complete, the time limit for the seven things is four days, the five things for two days, if it's too much, then the Nuns will break the Three Ditties, and the Bhikkhus will commit Tuk Kiet La. If you become a medical practitioner but do not live, you will be guilty of Tu Kiet La. The sutras say: "Casa is the flag raised by the sages. Those who practice according to the practice of subjecting themselves to death have compassion and have not yet attained the sa-mon virtues, so they initiate the eight dharmas of respect and reverence for the casa. 1/ Should start the idea to the tower. 2/ Should start the idea of extinction. 3/ Should start ideas from. 4/ Should start with bi ideas. 5/ Should start thinking like Buddha. 6/ Should start with bad ideas. 7/ Should start the idea to the quarter. 8/ Should start thinking to make the next life far away from the three poisons, fully qualified as a monk. The Lotus Sutra says: "The World-Honored One, in front of the Buddha, made a vow: May I attain Buddhahood with five kinds of merit: 1/ A person who is in the dharma child, commits a serious crime of wrong view in a single thought and respects him, will definitely receive a prediction in the fruit of the three vehicles. 2/ Heavens, dragons, humans, demons, if you respect this casa just a little bit, you won't fall back in the three vehicles. 3/ If there are demons and humans with casa up to four inches, the food and drink will be self-sufficient. 4/ If sentient beings oppose each other, whenever they remember and think of the power of this casa, they will immediately generate love. 5/ If anyone accepts and upholds this casa only a little, respecting and reverence is usually better than others. The Great Compassion Sutra says: "Those who are recognized as samanas, defile their conduct; The body is a monk, the body is dressed in a casa, from Maitreya Buddha to the time when Buddha Lou Chi entered Nirvana, there was no omission of them." Commentary explains: "The forbidden precept is the nature of the samana, shaving his hair and dyeing his hair is the image of a samana". The Sea Dragon King Sutra says: "Dragon King said to Buddha: As in this sea there are countless species of dragons, and there are four golden-winged eagles that often come to eat meat, please Buddha to support us so that we can be at peace. The Buddha then opened the chalk robe he was wearing on his body and said to the Dragon King: You will divide this robe among the dragons and make it complete. If there is a small thread of this casa, the eagle will not dare to offend. Those who keep the precepts will achieve whatever they wish for." Zen master Vinh Minh Dien Tho said: "Once upon a time, Bhikkhuni Lian Hoa Sac used to be a joker, wearing a casa on his body to make fun of him, but thanks to this merit, he met Shakyamuni Buddha and witnessed it. obtain Arahantship. Even though they don't have a sincere heart, they still get the four results, let alone have a sincere heart!". The commentary reads: “There are four things that are not sinful when you go to another country without wearing a casa. 1/ There are no pagodas and towers. 2/ There is no Bhikkhu Sangha. 3/ There are thieves and robbers. 4/ The king does not like religion. Dharma discharge that: "Venerable One thought, I am a monk... this An Da Hoi yoke is one of my three previous robes that I have received and maintained, now I would like to discharge" (Say it once). The above two y are also based on this. If a bhikkhu is alone, and if there is any change in his three robes, he should correct his posture, hold the robe in his hand, think in his mind, and say, "I am a monk with a single armor... in this five-thing Anda Hoi robe, I will now let go." ( Say it three times). There are two other y can know based on this. If it's a man's robe, when you're alive, you don't need to say anything, just say: "I'm a monk... this Anda Hoi man's robe, I now accept it. Dharma equanimity only says: "I'll let go of this Anda Hoi robe now", in addition, the words are the same as that of the physician's father. Udala Sangha: Also known as Ot Da La Sangha, Chinese translated as Upper before y (upper y), also called Enter them y (y into them), five elbows long, three elbows wide, There are seven things, which are cut and sewn into, and sewn in photography. Medical upper, the same amount as y seven things, according to the law used as y seven things. Y lower the amount is the same as the five things, based on the legal use of the five articles, the Dharma life and discharge are the same as above, only three names, Thuc Xa Ma Na ... are different. Recently, in the conifer forest, completely unaware of this type of medicine, he took the three robes of the great Sangha and gave it to Sa Di, this is a very wrong thing to do. Tang Ky Chi: Also known as Tang Khuoc Ky, or Tang Ca Chi, Chinese translates as Yem Dich y (y under armpit y). The law says: "At that time, when a bhikkhuni showed his shoulders and chest and walked away, the lay people saw this and derided him, and after speaking to the Buddha, the Buddha made the Sangha to sew a robe to cover his shoulders. Therefore, when nuns were ordained, in addition to giving these three robes, they also gave these two more robes, and Shakyamuni and Sa Di Ni were also given the robes of Sangha, two elbows long, four elbows wide. to cover the left shoulder, whenever the right is open, the left side is closed. Nun Su Dan: Chinese translated as sitting instrument. Once upon a time, one day when the Buddha went on a march to examine the rooms, seeing that most of the crocs were unclean, he made a sitting instrument. Initially, he made it four meters long and three meters wide, then because of the large body of the Buddha, when he saw the Buddha coming, he tried to stretch the Nun Su Dan with his hand. Buddha asked: "Why?". “Because I want to make it bigger,” he replied. The Buddha then gave him half a hand, now it should be added according to the amount of body, two layers of new, four layers of old, not one layer, not mixed use, no purification, no separation. Sleep, leave sleep is guilty of Tu Kiet La, if not needed, then discharge. Buddha taught that to make a new chair, use the old one to sew on top of the new one, if there is no old one, it's fine. Initially, the Buddha made the angle of the casa on the left arm, the sitting instrument below the casa. Later, young bhikkhus, handsome in appearance, entered the city for alms, Most of them were attracted to women, so the Buddha made the y angle behind the left shoulder, the y angle was blown by the wind, so the Buddha put the nun Su Dan on top. After the pagan Dharma, Dat Ma Da asked: "What cloth is on the shoulder, what is it used for?". The bhikkhu replied, "Prepare to sit down." Dat Ma Da said: "This robe is very precious, has great majesty, why put a sitting cloth on it". The bhikkhu had no way of answering, so he said to the Buddha, the Buddha made it, again using his cross-dress to rest on his shoulder, and the sitting instrument was placed under him, but not at a sharp angle like an elephant's trunk or a goat's ear... French life: "Venerable One thought, I am a monk... This nun sews the right amount, now I would like to maintain it". What do you bring it with you?" The bhikkhu replied, "Prepare to sit down." Dat Ma Da said: "This robe is very precious, has great majesty, why put a sitting cloth on it". What do you bring it with you?" The bhikkhu replied: "Prepare to sit down." The amount of the bowl: The Law of the Four Parts says: The upper eight ranks one duel, the lower eight ranks five ups, lest people today cannot be upheld. The Law of the Thousand Chants states: "Dharma's life span is equal to three times of the Qin Dynasty". The Abhidhamma Commentary says: "In the lower eight, one and a half, if it's more than three, it won't be accepted and maintained." Therefore, contemplation, according to the doctrine of the ten chants, is right. The color of the bowl is a combination of black and red; called the color of the dove's feathers, the color of the peacock's feathers, not mixed, should be respected as the iris of an eye. The lower eight of the bhikkhus are the same as the upper eight of the nuns, and all five of them are accepted and maintained together. Dharma Tho said: "The Venerable One thinks, I am a monk... I would like to accept and maintain this Bat Da La, to use it often" (Say it three times). The Dharma life of the following four groups is also based on this. If there is no one, then it is okay to receive the bowl alone, then correct his posture, hold the bowl in his hand, think, and say: "Son of a bhikkhu... This Prajnaparamita is a boon, I ask for a life, to use it often." . French discharge based on the above can know. Y Ca Hi Na: Chinese translated as merit medicine, also known as medical reward. DISCUSSION OF THE WORLD'S WRONG. Those who learn the precepts later consider themselves to be great wisdom, wrongly passing each other on, not knowing it's wrong, after hundreds of years like that. Now, for the sake of briefly mentioning a few things to correct the mistakes, I would like to announce to all fellow students to follow the Buddha's teachings. 1/ It was a mistake to transmit to Sa Di three y. In the Law of Sa Di, only An Da Hoi man's clothes can be worn. The Bodhisattva Ba Da Luan section states: "You should keep the upper and lower two robes, the upper one is the Udala Sangha, the lower one is Anda Hoi". The book Nam Son Sui Co Yet Ma also has the practice of living in the An Da Hoi by Sa Di. The Department of Roots of the Hundred and Yet Ma states: "They pray to die wearing men's clothes. If they cover five things, it's really illegal." The great masters in this country mostly give novices three y, do not know on what basis. If according to the set of Fundamentals, it is written: "Y five things are not given, let alone for all three?". Recently, the transmission of the precepts, giving all three of them to Sa Di, is contrary to the Buddha's teachings, and should not be done. 2/ It is a mistake to give four or more people the ordination once. In the Law on ordination of bhikkhus, it is only given to each person at first, then because eight tribulations arise, until other causes and conditions are given, it is given to three people at once. The Law of the Decalogue states: "It is forbidden to speak to four people who are ordained." The Ministry of Basic Journalism says: “It is not allowed for the four of you to live close to each other. Why why? It's wrong to be one group and the other is acting for one, it's against the truth." The Law of the Five Parts says: "Absolutely not to give a ghost to four people." The great masters of the future, regardless of the number of people, all gathered together to live a group. Worse is in the two worlds of the North and the South, because many people should give the same life span. According to the etiquette of the forum, it is only called three people, so knowing four or more people is against the ordination ceremony. 3/ The mistake of taking the vows with the bhikkhus. According to the Law: The precepts of bhikkhunis are really different from the precepts of the bhikkhus, even the issue of getting old in order to receive the precepts is completely different. Because men and women are separate. In recent years, when the great masters preached the precepts, they let the nuns mix up the common ordination with the bhikkhus. Thus the woman becomes another ordained. The group precepts were chaotic, not only did the nuns not attain the precepts, but even the monks did not attain the precepts, this must be thought about. 4/ The mistake may be too much. In the Buddha's law taught: "An Da Hoi is four elbows long, two elbows wide. The Uat Da La Sangha is five elbows long and three elbows wide, and so is the Sangha Le.” In recent times, great masters have minimized the five things, I don't know who makes such an outrageous mistake. There is another place where the five robes are the same size as the seven robes, which is not the Buddha's teaching. Come like, y seven things, great robes, most of them are six elbows long, more than that, according to the Dharma, they are not covered. Yet still comfortably resting on the left shoulder, I asked the reason for that, they said that Thich Tu's head was round and square, and if it was only five elbows long, it would not be square. Because they don't know that the two words "regional robes" are not originally said by the Buddha, why are they stubbornly calling them the limit? So why can't five elbows be called square?. Tradition passed on, refusing to be examined, sadly! 5/ The mistake of wasting medicine of the deceased monk. The law teaches: "The robes and bowls of a deceased monk cannot be taken with them. After a person dies, the Buddha taught that people should bring wealth to the sick person, if the person raising the disease already has it, it will be divided among them, but he must have someone to pass on his life before he can be covered. Recently, the great masters believe that the robes of the deceased monk should not be covered, and then teach each other to hang on the tree to let it rot, this is contrary to the Buddha's teachings. What's more, the Buddha once said, even though it's torn, it can't be covered and shouldn't be wasted. A ring to make a lamp's wick can also make a believer more generous, now it's a good idea to let it rot. star?. 6/ The mistake of transmitting medicine to lay people. Lay people who take the five precepts are not allowed to wear robes, if they take the bodhisattva precepts and when they enter the ashram, they are allowed to wear robes, but they are not allowed to cut a belt. They only sew one line to make it, and they are not allowed to cut and sew like the robes of the great Sangha. So Buddha taught: This medicine is a name for the three y, also called the worldly medicine. Is it possible to dress the great Sangha? Even if he sews a path, it is difficult to accept and uphold the Dharma. If he sleeps with his wife and children, where is this robe? It is an illegal crime. If it is said that it is stored during the day, then it is better not to live. So first, there was Mr. Tu Van discussing, then there was Mr. Van The, don't you know!. 7/ The mistake of not receiving the precepts. The Buddha taught that novice monks who want to receive the full precepts must first receive the Sacāna vows for two years, learn the etiquette rules of bhikkhunis, and then give them advanced tools. So when she was ordained as a nun, after asking questions about her age, she asked: "Have you spent two years studying the precepts?". Answer: "Study". Again asked: "Is the precept pure?". Answer: "Pure". Again, the nuns asked the same thing, (and the disciples) the nuns answered the same. If you don't receive the Sakha Ma Na precept, you won't be able to receive the great nun's ordination. Today, most nuns do not receive this precept, and some say that Thuc Xa Ma Na is the precept of a lay woman. What a miscommunication, so bad, how pitiful! 8/ The mistake of modifying the literature. The Dharma ordination in the series, the words are clearly recorded, the Bon Precepts Dan Chieu Khanh was added by later people, not the old version of the monk Dai Tri Chieu. For example, when asking about old age and tribulation, there are two mistakes, in the three sages, there are three mistakes. Those who know how difficult it are for them to live and uphold. Recently, there are people who claim to be smart, completely ignorant of the law, but when they lie to correct themselves, give their fathers to study with white doctors, without knowing the basis of any law. The date of the upcoming posting is much more in addition to the chanting, pleasing to the audience, just like the responders. It's not the rule to propagate the Vinaya, if you ever see the Vinaya, you should be ashamed of yourself. 9/ The confusion while posting. Everyone who receives the precepts, before inviting the Dharma Master, the ten masters to sign up on the forum, will ask about the old age and the distress. After asking, he went up to the white lute with the monks, then asked the precepts to go on the lute. This is the rule of the ancients. So is Chieu Khanh's world of musical instruments. Yet today's monks gather all the precepts in a group, invite ten monks, ask questions of old age, and receive precepts in one place, and then read the literature one at a time from beginning to end, contrary to the Buddha's teachings. Nor is it the ritual of the old Chieu Khanh world. I don't know according to any rules that mess up the Dharma, This is a very wrong thing to do, the wise should investigate for themselves.
