FIRST STEP TO LEARN LAW.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.
PRINCIPLE OF THE LAW:
Once upon a time, the World-Honored One, together with 500 bhikkhus, was staying for three months in the abode of the Brahmin Vailanya. Venerable Sariputra was in a quiet place, thinking: "Which fully Enlightened One can practice the holy life, and the Buddha Dharma can last for a long time? Which Perfectly Enlightened One has a holy life to practice, and the Buddha Dharma cannot last long?" Then he went to ask Buddha. Buddha taught: "Buddha Vaibhava, Buddha Consciousness Air, Buddha Cau Luu Ton, Buddha Kassapa, these Buddhas have a virtuous practice, the right Dharma is long-lived. Vairocana Buddha, Buddha Cau Na Ham has a holy life to practice, the right Dharma must not last for a long time." The venerable asked: "Why?". The Buddha taught: "The Buddhas of Konaham and Vairocana did not speak extensively to their disciples about the twelve sets of sutras, tolerating them to neither precepts nor preaching precepts, so the disciples were tired and bored. Law does not last long. The Vairocana Buddhas... widely spoke twelve sets of sutras to their disciples, endured to the end, and preached the precepts, so the true Dharma was spread throughout the next life, not allowing it to quickly perish." The venerable one immediately got up from his seat, corrected his posture and said to the Buddha: "Then respectfully ask the World-Honored One to establish the precepts and preach the precepts to the monks, so that the true dharma may be perpetuated for a long time." Buddha said: "Stop it! I know the time myself."
Later, because the bhikkhus gave rise to the dharma of contraband, he bound up the precepts according to each thing. The summary conclusion has ten meanings:
1/ The photographer for the Tang.
2/ Make the Sangha happy.
3/ Increase peace of mind.
4/ Causing unbelievers to believe.
5/ Those who believe cause growth.
6/ People who are difficult to deal with make things right.
7/ Make those who are ashamed to be at peace.
8/ Eliminate illegal possessions in the present.
9/ Eliminate illegal possessions in the future.
10/ Make the Dharma last long.
After Buddha attained enlightenment, at the age of thirty-eight, he went to Vuong Xa city, the King set up an offering, he finished his meal, told La Van to wash the dishes. The Buddha said: "This is an omen that, after I have passed away for the first 500 years, the evil-minded bhikkhus divide the Bhikkhuni Canon into five sets. Later, the fourth group, the venerable Cuc Da, had five disciples, all of whom accepted their own views, so indeed divided the Bhikkhuni Canon into five sets: 1/ The Vodafone Talks. Chinese translation is Fa Mi, the French name is Tu Fen; 2/ Set of Ba Da Slaps. Chinese translation is Nhat Tiet Huu, the French name is Thap Tung; 3/ Ministry of Migration. Chinese translation is Real Before You Wu Quan, the French name is Five Parts; 4/ Set of Lettuce. Chinese translation is Chong Khong Quan, the Dharma name is Liberation; 5/ Set of Mrs. Phu La. Chinese translated as Before You Hanh is also called Doc Tu. This set of Old Laws called: Ma Ha Tang Ky, Chinese called Dai Cong. The Sangha is the basic, divided into five sets. Currently, this Code of Poisonous Death has not been transmitted to China, and Kashyapa has only one book of Liberation of Precepts, and the other three are completely complete.
When it comes to dependent origination, divided into five sets, the scribes in China say the same thing, but according to the "Sariputra Sutra" recorded about the Buddha's legend, it is somewhat different. Please copy the following:
The Sariputra Sutra says: "Sariputra said to the Buddha: Why did the Blessed One give the precepts to the bhikkhus, or declare or prevent them, in the future life bhikkhus, bhikkhunis, upasakas, and upasi? How to worship? Buddha taught: As I said: It is up to time, in this time should obey this saying, in other times should obey other words for profit, so all should serve. maintain. After our Nirvana, Mahakasyapa... should make the same distinction for the Bhikkhus and Bhikkhunis to follow, as if we were still in the world. Ca Diep passed it on to Ananda, Ananda passed it on to Mat Dien Dia, Mat Dien Dia passed it on to Xa Na Ba Tu, Xa Na Ba Tu again passed it on to Upa Level Da. After U Ba Level Da, King Kong Tuoc Luan Kha propagated the Law in his life, his grandson named Phat Sa Mat Da La, succeeded the king who believed in heresy, Their leaders destroyed the tower, killed the monks, the blood flowed into a river, 500 Arhats fled into the mountain cave, then burned the scriptures. Maitreya bodhisattva used his supernatural powers to bring our sutras to the Tusita heaven.
Next, the Tower of Density, the tower said that there was a god Trung Hanh before asking for my daughter, I refused to allow it. Now swearing to protect the Dharma, he brought his daughter out, so much so that in respect, the god Trung Hanh rejoiced, holding the mountain in his hand to crush the king and the four soldiers all died in mass. Later, there was a king with a very gentle nature, Maitreya Bodhisattva made 300 pupils come down to the world to pray for Buddhism, according to 500 Arhat asked to receive the Dharma. At that time the men and women in the country went forth together, and the four groups like that were even more numerous. The new Arhat flew to the sky to receive the Law Sutras and bring them back to the world. At that time, a monk named General Van asked the Arhats and Kings that we should separate the Vinaya Sutras and set up many contemplations, because it is difficult to study.
At that time, an elder monk, interested in fame, fame and fortune, stood up and argued: Copying my Law, expanding it, and making it known as the Great Law of the Sangha, Kashyapa collects external things and leaves it behind. , it's a lie for new learners to create their own cliques and talk nonsense together. At that time, a monk asked the king for a judgment, so the king gathered two sets of dharma cards to draw black and white cards, and the king ordered everyone: "If anyone believes and likes to follow the Old Law, then draw a black card, but anyone who believes If you like to follow the New Law, you should get a white card." At that time, the person who drew the black card had a few thousand, and the person who drew the white card only got a few hundred. The king thought that all were said by the Buddha, but why did they have different beliefs, not being in the same place, there were many Old School people. Since then, it has been called Ma Ha Tang Ky. The learners are few, but they are all high-ranking people, so from there, the court took the name Tha Vairocana. This set of Tha Vairocana, 300 years after Nirvana, because of the controversy, there is another set of Bodhisattvas and Poisonous Deaths. In this Poison series, it is divided into: The Dam Ma Commissar Da Biet Ca, the Bat Da La Da Ni set, the Sa Ma De set, and the Sa Na Loi Ca set. As for the Sat Ba Da set, it is divided into: the Di Sa Tac set, the Muc Kien La Uu Ba De Xa set. Originating from the Vocabulary Da Ca, the To Ba Loi Su, and the Tha Pila. There are more sets of Ca Diep Duy, set of Tu Da Lan Ba De Na. In 400 years appeared the Sangha, the Sangha, and the Ma Ha Tang Ky. After 200 years of our extinction, due to other treatises, there are: Binh Ba Ha La, Lo Ca Uy Da La, Cau Cau La, Ba Thau Lau Da Kha, and Bat La Nha De Ba Da Na. In 300 years, because of the heteros, in these five books there were more: Ma Ha De Ba, Chat Da La, Mat Da Loi, many such books spread long after,
Ministry of Ma Ha Tang Ky, need to study the sutras, preach the true meaning, to deal with things in the residence, should wear yellow robes.
The Vocabulary Vocabulary Da Ca, communicating the truth, showing only the benefits, showing the victory, should wear red clothes.
The set of Tathagatas, widely and thoroughly, in order to lead the teaching and learning, should wear black robes.
The set of Ca Diep Duy, who is strong and courageous, takes care of sentient beings, so he wears the color of the bark of the Mulan tree.
The set of Di Sac Tac, meditation to a wonderful place, thoroughly discussed the secret, should wear blue clothes. The former holds that five sets divide at the same time, the latter holds that five sets divide in turn. The previous theory said that the Doc Tu series belonged to one of the five sets, and Tang Ky was not mentioned. The following theory says that the Doc Tu set is lost, so add the Tang Ky set to make up the total number of five sets. The above two theories have not been clearly defined, and by reasoning, the logic of the five sets is neither at the same time nor divided. Furthermore, the Vinaya Sutras of the Doctrine of Poisons were not transmitted to China. Therefore, we can know that the series has not been handed down to the world, thinking that the following theory should be based on the truth. The reason why it is said that the five sets are divided into five colors is the five color decay, not the five primary colors.
There is a fake sutra called Di Giao Tam Muoi, saying: "La Tuan's example when he went for alms (1) returned empty-handed. The Buddha knew that people could be full of people, so he sent the Sangha to divide the Law into five sets, and the clothes were also divided into five colors, so that every day, depending on each set of clothes, while begging for food, you can get a lot of food." These are all fabrications. The story of La Tuan Du is the story of Buddha's legend, not the story when Buddha was still alive. Phuong Chi said that the Buddha told the Sangha to divide the Law into five sets, and the color of the robe was also divided into five. So Buddha was the first to make a riot, it was so wrong. The wise should see in the book of Sariputta, they will know for themselves.
Sariputra said: "How can the Dharma of the Tathagata be so scattered in such a short time. If you have lost your position, how can you keep it?" . Buddha taught: "The Dharma taste of the Ma Ha Tang Ky series is pure, but in other books like adding water to the orange road, when the gods drink it, they only drink the orange road, and the water is left. But in the human world, when drinking, they drink both orange juice and water, so that sometimes eliminates diseases, sometimes causes more diseases. It's the same with reading and reciting, the wise know what to take and what to give up, but the stupid can't distinguish."
?? TAM QUI Y:
Taking refuge means going back, because in the past, following the wrong path contrary to the right Dharma, drifting in the six paths, now knowing that it is wrong, immediately turned the other wrong mind back to the right path, thus establishing it. triple rule. Definitely need to turn back to take refuge, should not be negligent.
Take refuge in the Buddha and then give up your life, not taking refuge in Tu Ta Thien for the rest of your life.
Take refuge in the Dharma and then give up your life, not taking refuge in a non-Buddhist scripture for the rest of your life.
Take refuge in the Sangha and then give up your body and life, and do not take refuge with them for the rest of your life.
If you don't know that, it's not called taking refuge. This triple rule has five different levels:
1. Tam Quy session: It is the secular people who know the direction.
2. Five precepts of three rules: It is people in the secular world who maintain the five forbidden precepts.
3. Eight precepts of three rules: It is people in the secular world who maintain the eight forbidden precepts.
4. The ten precepts of the three rules: It is the newcomer to become a novice monk.
5. Bodhisattva Tam Quy: It is the person who generates the bodhisattva's precepts.
At first, leaving the world on his own, devoted himself to the way, the main thing was to rely on the Three Jewels.
The Triple Gem also has many levels:
1. Generalization of the Three Jewels: The golden body of the Tathagata one zhang and six is the Buddha's treasure; Four truths, twelve causes and conditions are dharma treasures; Thanh Van, Duyen Giac and the Saints are Sangha. This is the refuge of the second vehicle.
2. The Three Treasures: The three bodies of the Dharma, the newspaper, and the transformation of the Buddha; the twelve sets of sutras are Dharma treasures; The holy sage of the three vehicles is the Sangha. This is the refuge of the great vehicle.
3. Unity of the Three Jewels: Clearly know the truth as Buddha's treasure; show all the models of protection are Dharma Jewels; The harmony is the Sangha. This is the true body of the Triple Gem of the previous two Triple Gems.
4. Abbot of the Three Jewels: Sculpting statues and drawing pictures of Buddha's treasures; all sutras are Dharma treasures; shaved hair and dressed as Sangha. This is the place to send the previous three steps, to circulate forever until later. Although there are disagreements about the Mahayana, the Hinayana, and the true power, once they take refuge, they are all the righteous gateways to the Way, the cause and effect of enlightenment, and their merit is inconceivable.
The Good Life Sutra says: "If anyone accepts and upholds the three refuges, he will receive an inexhaustible retribution, like four great treasures that people throughout the country can transport for seven years and not run out. People who receive the three rules of merit and virtue are more than that, can not count.
The Comparative Merit Sutra says: "There are people who make offerings to the second vehicle all over the world in four continents, even building stupas, still not as good as men and women who say like this: "I... Taking refuge in the Buddha, taking refuge in the Dharma, taking refuge in the Sangha…” obtains inconceivable merit, because among all kinds of merit fields, the three treasures are the supreme merit fields.
Again it is written: "If there were Tathagatas throughout the three thousand great thousand worlds, there would be as many as sesame rice and bamboo reeds. Whoever makes offerings to the four things for twenty thousand years. After the Buddhas have passed away, they will build treasure towers and make offerings of incense, flowers, and flowers. Although their blessings are many, they are not equal to the merits of those who take refuge in the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Three Jewels with a pure heart."
The Moc Hoan Tu Sutra says: "King Ba Luu Ly said to the Buddha: In my country there are often fires that make me very anxious. I bow to the Blessed One to give me the essential Dharma that is easy to practice. The Buddha told the king: If you want to eliminate afflictions, obstacles, karma, and retribution, you should string 108 seeds of the fruit of the tree, which you usually carry with you. While walking, standing, lying down, and sitting down, always single-mindedly do not be distracted. , profess to recite the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, and then go through a grain, so in turn, to the number or 10, 20, 100, 1000, up to 100,000 billion. If the recitation is enough for 20 thousand variables, the body and mind will not be scattered, there will be no twists and turns... when you give up your life and body, you will be reborn in the third Diem Ma heaven. If you recite enough 100,000 variables, you will be able to eliminate 108 karmas that end up with afflictions, that's called going against the stream of birth and death, reaching the pier of Nirvana, eliminating the roots of afflictions, and attaining unsurpassed results.
The Buddha said to the king: Bhikkhu Sa Dou, by chanting the name of the Three Jewels, after 10 years of experience, attained the fruit of Tu Da Ham, and then following the class of virtuous practice, now he is a Bich Chi Buddha in the Universal world. Smell".
In the past, there was a God Dao Loi who knew that his life was about to end, and the five signs reflected. He contemplated that after his death, he would fall into a pig's womb, and then became sad and unhappy. There was a god who told him: Now only Buddha can save you from your sins! Therefore, he immediately went to the Buddha, made offerings to the Buddha. Buddha said: If you want to get rid of the pig pregnancy, you should recite the Dharma of the Three Refuges. He immediately obeyed the Buddha's teachings, took refuge early in the evening, seven days later, lived together, was born as the son of the wealthy man of Duy Da Ly, met Sariputta, asked the Buddha to teach the Dharma, and immediately attained A Duy Viet wisdom."
The Great Means Sutra says: "Taking the three treasures as a place of orientation is taking salvation as a meaning. For example, a person who commits a crime against the king, flees to another country to seek help. Another king said, 'If you come here, don't be afraid, but don't leave my country, don't disobey my teachings, you will definitely be saved. Beings, too, belong to ghosts, have the sin of birth and death, so they turn to the three jewels to be saved. If you sincerely take refuge, do not follow another path, do not disobey the Buddha's teachings, those evil demon kings cannot do anything."
Those who receive the three rules are also called Uu Ba Tac or Uu Ba Di. High quality refuge is the mind that meets in one nature, the three jewels and the complete natural precepts; middle-class refuge is to be like Bhikkhu Sa Dou, reciting the name of the Three Jewels, or a Buddha's name, if you don't turn back for a long time, you will become a saint; The low quality of taking refuge is still eating the five pure humiliations, not making friends with evil people such as: meat traders, alcohol sellers, good prisons, prostitutes... should not have a reciprocal relationship. In the six-day, three-month-old period, it is also necessary to stop drinking alcohol, eating meat, and eating five-year-olds. Practicing like this, at the initial meeting of Maitreya Buddha, he was immediately liberated.
The five pure humiliations are:
1. Not because I killed.
2. Did not see the kill.
3. Do not listen to kill.
4. Objects die by themselves.
5. Birds eat leftovers.
The three months of the year are January, May and September. It was during the months that Bhikkhuni Thien Vuong held this Nam Thiem Bo Chau.
Six days later, on the eighth and twenty-third, the heavenly king's messengers patrol the world; fourteen, twenty-nine is the crown prince of the heavenly king who patrols the world; The full moon and thirty are the heavenly kings who personally patrol the world.
?? GENDER :
The Five Precepts are:
1. Do not kill living beings.
2. Do not steal.
3. Do not commit adultery.
4. Don't lie.
5. Do not drink alcohol.
The first four precepts, the worldly dharma and the dharma of the holy king, are also not accepted, only the latter is forbidden by the Buddha alone. Because alcohol disturbs the mind, increases lethargy, the previous four precepts are also broken, so the Buddha specifically forbade it. Although this precept is concise, but has a very wide scope, if anyone follows and maintains it, the merit is unpredictable. Those who uphold the high-quality receive the holy way, those who maintain the middle-class receive the heavenly way, and those who uphold the low-grade receive the human way.
Again, the five precepts, although limited to lay people, are clear to monastics, because this precept is the foundation of the novice and bhikkhus precepts, and also the root of the bodhisattva precepts. If someone diligently accepts and maintains, in general, there is nothing that cannot be conquered, there is no realm that cannot be reached. Therefore, the recipient should not be looked down upon.
If a person takes and maintains the three legal refuges, then one of the precepts is called a part of Upa Tac, Upa Ba Di; life of two worlds is called a little part; life three, four precepts are called many parts; Life in the five precepts is called a full part.
Again, depending on their will, they will feel peaceful and happy, they will all be blessed with great blessings, attain Buddhahood, and if they do not take the precepts, they will fall down in the three paths, completely ending the human and heavenly paths.
The Majestic Five Precepts Sutra says: "The Buddha was about to enter Nirvana, and immediately told the four great Sravakas and the six Arhats that: After I pass away, the two householders will live according to their abilities, more or less. Uphold the above precepts, or create things in daily life such as: rooms, beds, clothing, food and drink, all in accordance with the doctrine, making offerings to the four directions of monks and sages. accept requests, if not, then sin. Because of this, considering that the sages are not far away, if they have feelings, they will naturally appear."
The Maitreya Sutra says: "The five precepts are called the five great gifts, that is, capturing immeasurable sentient beings, achieving the happiness of immeasurable beings in order to increase the merits."
People who observe the five precepts can live for five days, ten days, one year, two years, as long as they want! After taking the five precepts, if it is not possible to keep them fully, any of the precepts can be returned. Just go to the master, or before the pure bhikkhu and say: "My name is... from now on I will not take the precepts...". Saying this three times is called returning the precepts.
Those who want to take the five precepts must first abstain from eating meat. In the sutras, the Buddha spoke of immeasurable causes and conditions, rebuked and forbade the eating of meat. Because eating the flesh of living beings hurts compassion and is immediately captured by the demon king, let alone eating every part of an animal, it's not what animals want, so it becomes a thief's karma. Debts, according to certain logic, must be repaid, that is human beings.
Every person who takes the Three Precepts, needs to make a vow, as the law instructs, saying: "May the merit and virtue of this precept, not falling into evil beasts, the border of eight tribulations, the merits and virtues of keeping these five precepts. all the karmas of sentient beings. How many merits are dedicated to all, making the path unsurpassed and righteous. It also enables the future to be in the three assemblies of Maitreya Buddha, free from birth, old age, sickness and death."
If you just make a vow to dedicate to the West, that's fine.
The Uposatha Sutra says: "If anyone, after taking the precepts, sacrifices to ghosts and spirits in order to preserve his home and life, he will not lose his precepts. Those who devote themselves to worshiping non-Buddhists are called losing precepts. For example, if you make sacrifices, you are not allowed to kill."
The five precepts include photography with ten good karmas, three precepts of killing and committing adultery in the body, about saving sentient beings, giving, and holy life. A precept not to lie, to speak in the mouth, about honest words, straightforward words, harmonious words, and soft words. A precept of not drinking is the opposite of mind, about dharma contemplation of impurity, contemplation of compassion, contemplation of causes and conditions.
However, this Vinh Giac alone thinks that the three photographers are in the same drinking world. Even though the five precepts prevent body and speech. But actually, the body and speech that violates, of course, is due to the mind of the three photographers. If you only prevent your body and speech, you are not a person who is good at keeping the five precepts, and someone who keeps them should know it well.
The five precepts are related to the five common sense:
Do not kill in relation to the Human.
No theft related to Nghia.
Do not commit adultery related to Mass.
Do not lie regarding Tin.
Do not drink alcohol related to Tri.
The Good Life Sutra says: "If there were any good men and women who would give alms to sentient beings throughout the four continents, making offerings of four things, for 100 years would not equal the merit of keeping the five precepts for one day and one night."
The Great Wisdom Commentary said: "If anyone renounces this precept, even if he lives in the mountains and practices asceticism, eats vegetables and drinks medicine, he is no different from animals. If there are people who, although living in a great house, like to wear beautiful clothes and eat delicious food, wholeheartedly uphold the precepts, they will be reborn in the virtuous land of victory and attain the path and fruition.
?? BAGS OF TRAINING:
The eight mandarins have a total of 9 genera:
1. Do not kill living beings.
2. Do not steal.
3. Do not commit adultery.
4. Don't lie.
5. Do not drink alcohol.
6. Don't wear garlands and put perfume on yourself.
7. Do not sing, dance and come to watch and listen.
8. Don't sit on high and wide beds.
9. Do not eat out of time.
The eight front limbs are called mandarins, which means that the gate is closed to the eight evils, making mistakes not arise. There is also a hind limb called mussels, which means that they do not eat at noon, in line with the Buddha's method of eating. If two of them stay at home, if in three auspicious months, six days of boys and at birthdays, days of disobedience to parents, days of doing good deeds, they should come to the Sangha to seek this precept. If there is no one to transmit it, just thinking about it or saying it will become a Dharma life.
The Abhidhamma Commentary says: "If first there is an intention to live on the day of the young, even after eating, the ordained person should wholeheartedly join hands and speak according to the word of the preceptor, do not speak first, speak later, otherwise, unsucces".
The Truthfulness Commentary says: "The five precepts, the eight precepts, depending on the length of the day, or a month, a year, or even half a day and midnight, can be long or short."
The Tathagata Bada says: "If the person who receives the precepts should say one day, one night... say it clearly, don't confuse it with the general precepts for life".
The Sangha Nhat Aham Sutra says: "If one receives the eight precepts first, he must repent of his sins and then receive them later."
The Ahamma Sutra says: "If anyone lives for six days, one day and one night, and observes the eight precepts, his merit and virtue cannot be counted."
The commentary says: "If there are lay people, men and women who will uphold and uphold them all their lives, they will eventually become enlightened. Until one day and one night they observe the eight precepts, their merit will immediately surpass those of those who keep the five precepts all their lives. Why why? For keeping so many precepts.”
The Bodhisattva Judgment Sutra says: "The eight precepts are the parents of the Buddhas".
Commentary on Tri Do writes: "In the early life, the saint taught to keep the precepts, practice good karma, to avoid evil things, for a day without eating is a mussel. After the Buddha came out of the world to teach people to keep the eight precepts, and not eat at noon, that merit brought people to the wonderful fruit of Nirvana.”
Although this precept is temporary, it has great merit, because since each precept speaks like the Buddhas, not the five precepts can be compared. That's why the suttas say that certain people will be enlightened, some say that they are the parents of the Buddhas, and some say that they will lead people to the wonderful fruition of Nirvana. Those who receive and uphold should know this.
?? GENDER PRIORITY:
This precept is copied from the Upa Ba Tac precepts, also known as the Bodhisattva precepts, including the collection in the home of Bodhisattva Pham Vong. This precept is written down from the Mahayana. The above is considered as Pham Vong, of course, it is difficult to understand, below is considered the five precepts, it is really high and gentle.
If anyone wants to receive this precept, they should make them for six months to be close to the monastics and the wise. After that, it is necessary to pray for the twenty monks to gather together, write the white table ma, and let them receive the Upa Ba Tac precepts.

The Sutra says: "The Uposatha precept can't think of why? Those who have received this precept, even though they have received the five desires, cannot hinder the results of Tu Da Hoan from reaching A Na Ham, so it is called inconceivable.
He said again: "The Upu Ba Tac precepts are called Anh Lac, they are called dignified, their wonderful fragrances permeate everywhere, preventing unwholesome dharmas, they are good laws, they are unsurpassed magical treasures, they are the family lineage. The supreme being in a quiet place is a nectar who gives birth to good dharmas. Even in the moment of generating that mind, he can still receive immeasurable benefits, not to mention single-mindedly receive, maintain, and do not destroy offenses."
The sutras say: There are four things that should not be done:
- Predestined greed should not be in vain.
- Predestination should not be in vain.
- Predestined si should not be in vain.
- Fear of fate should not be in vain.

?? ABOUT US:
Chinese Sa Di translates as Can Sach, also known as Tu Tu, which is the name for newcomers to the religion. From seven to thirteen years old is called Khu Sa Di; from fourteen to nineteen years old is called Dharma Sa Di. There are two more Dharma applications: Not yet taking ten precepts is called Figurative Sa Di, and having taken ten precepts is called Dharma Dong Sa Di. From twenty years of age or older but not yet ordained is called a novice, from seventy years of age or older does not give ordination, called old novice. The ten precepts of novices are:
1/ For a lifetime, do not kill living beings.
Above from Arhat, monks, parents, below, animals that fly and move, as long as they have their lives, they must not try to kill, or kill themselves, or ask others to kill, or see that killing but enjoy killing, all commit murder. birth. If it hurts by mistake, don't commit it.
2/ Don't steal in life.
Precious things like gold and silver, even needles and blades of grass, if others don't give them, they can't take them, or steal them, or steal them, or lie, or even evade taxes, cheat boats, etc., all commit theft.
3/ Don't have sex for the rest of your life.
Any offense committed against all men and women in the world, even to animals, is called breaking precepts.
4 / Lifetime do not say hope.
There are four hopes:
1/ Lying means seeing and saying you can't see, you can't see and say you can't.
2/ Spoofing means refining words to make them beautiful, to fascinate people's eyes.
3/ To speak evil means to speak harshly and insultingly.
4/ To speak twice means to come here and speak ill of there, to come over there to speak ill of here, to instigate a fight... until first praise, then criticize, right in front, wrong in back, talk I testify to the results, talk about people's bad stories, are called false speech. If you yourself testify to the saints and obtain the dharma of a superior person, then the crime is very serious, but with temporary means to save people, you will not commit it.
5/ Do not drink alcohol for the rest of your life.
All kinds of wine are not allowed to drink, until they are not allowed to taste, smell or bring wine to people to drink.
6/ For the rest of his life, he must not wear garlands and perfumes on himself.
Corolla: a person in the Western Region makes a wreath to decorate his body. China uses embroidered brocade velvet, precious gold sewn into hats and scarves for jewelry. Fragrance oil applied to the body is the noble people in the Western Region use incense powder to impregnated their clothes and apply to the body. Use oiled flowers to dab on the body again. This country (China) uses all kinds of incense, incense, and makeup. People who have left home wearing worn-out robes should not do that.
7/ For the rest of your life, you can't sing, dance, sing or come to watch and listen.
Ca is the mouth that utters sound. Dance is the body that makes fun of dancing machine. Singing is not allowed to use harps, lutes, flutes, nor listen to other people do it, such as Go, hexagonal chess, and zither throwing, all of which are not recommended.
8/ Never sit on a large high bed in life.
The Buddha taught to make a rope bed with no more than eight fingers high by the Tathagata, if it is too much, it is a crime, even if it is carved, painted in flashy colors, and should not be used as a mattress.
9/ Don't eat out of time in life.
The wrong time is past noon, not the time to eat for the Sangha. The sutras say: "The gods eat in the morning, the Buddha eats at noon, the animals eat after noon, the hungry ghosts eat at night." As a monk, he should learn to follow the Buddha, eliminate the six paths of multiplication, so he can't eat at noon. Nowadays, people's bodies are weak, or sick, most of them can't be maintained, they need to be ashamed of themselves, shouldn't eat much, eat well, don't feel secure to eat, just like that.
10/ For the rest of your life, you are not allowed to hold gold, silver or treasure statues.
In Sanskrit, it is called a statue of birth, and in Chinese it is translated as gold and silver. Flowers and Sanskrit are all presented, so they are called gold and silver statues. Treasures are seven treasures. When the Buddha was still in the world, the monks were not allowed to keep them, most of them sent pure people to keep them. It's not like that these days, you need to know that you have to be ashamed of yourself, don't seek it, don't keep it, that's all.
There are 12 things novices must not commit:
1/ Regardless of y.
2/ Leave to sleep.
3/ Exposure to fire.
4/ Eat enough and then eat again.
5/ Harm the germ of life.
6/ On good grass pour impure things.
7/ Always stay in the tall tree.
8/ Contact with treasures.
9/ Eat food at night.
10/ Destruction of the land.
11/ Do not accept food.
12/ Damage the germ.
The Sutra of Sangha Phuoc Dien writes:
There are 5 virtues that a novice should know:
1/ Develop the mind to leave home, cherish the holy path.
2/ Remove beautiful pictures, wear the right legal clothes.
3/ Cut off intimacy, no longer a nun.
4/ Despise body and life, respect the Dharma.
5/ I seek the great vehicle to save sentient beings.
Law of Ma Ha Tang Ky must because of ten numbers.
1/ It is necessary that all living beings depend on eating and drinking.
2/ Name and form.
3/ Itching, pain, thought.
4/ Four legs.
5/ Warm year.
6/ Six entries.
7/ Seven senses.
8/ The Eight Noble Paths.
9/ Nine realms of beings.
10/ Ten must enter.
This is to list the numbers, and the explanation of the main antidotes is all as broad as in the Acting of the Stars said.
Sa Di violated the previous four precepts, all of which were guilty of the crime of Tu Kiet La, who initiated evil views three times, interrupted them. If they do not discharge, they will also die, in addition, when they commit other sins, they all repent of Tu Kiet La's sins.
Sa Di Ni accused the same as Sa Di, now do not mind telling.
?? INTRODUCTION MA NA :
The Chinese Shamana form translates as "Learning about women". Every person who is a novice monk needs to spend two years studying the precepts. If a woman is eighteen years old, she is given two years of precepts; or if a married woman is ten years old, she is given two years of precepts. Two years of precepts are to tell if a woman is pregnant or not. So it is said that two years to purify the body and six dharmas to purify the mind.
There are three things that should be learned in the Saha Ma Na consciousness:
1/ Learn the four important precepts ie lust, killing, religion, and hope.
2/ Learning the six dharmas means: the contaminated mind touches a man's body, stealing four or less money, killing animals, misrepresenting speech, eating at the wrong time, drinking alcohol.
3/ Learn the precepts and positions of the nuns, except for the precepts of eating too much of the nuns and self-accepting food to eat.
If you break the four important precepts, you will have to die, if you break the six dharmas, you will have to repent of your sins of Tu Kiet La, you must have two years to study the precepts again, and if you break the precepts of the great nuns, you will be guilty of Tu Kiet La.
?? GENDER BILLION :
Bhikkhu is also known as Bi So, translated as mendicant in China. Among the ten masters, one person is invited to be a teacher, one is to be a teacher, and the master is called the three masters. The remaining seven are venerable masters. The Sangha gathers together to ask questions of old age and troubles, and then give them to the full precepts, then tell them about the famous signs of the four important precepts, and impart the four robes. This is called dharma-like achievement.
There are twenty-seven things to do in order to receive the Bhikkhu's precepts.

Bhikkhuni: Chinese translates as bhikshu, after two years of studying the precepts, novices will be able to advance without errors. Monk nuns should prepare enough robes and bowls, and invite ten nuns to transmit the precepts. . First of all, they asked about old age and tribulation to give precepts, then ten monks and nuns took this novice monk to the great Sangha to ask the Sangha to return the precepts, and in the Sangha, a group of ten monks went to the forum to question old age and tribulation. After completing the four rituals, tell them about the famous signs of the "eight-religious dharma," and then tell them the four robes of Dharma, which is called the attainment of the Dharma.
The Buddha taught that nuns must receive precepts from two sets of monks and nuns, after being transmitted to China, nuns could not give the precepts, only following the great Sangha. In recent years, the monks have been completely ignorant of the method of transmission, carelessly doing so, to confuse it with the monk's life span. Is it not a great sin to be a woman and accept a man? ?

There are eighteen things that people who take the bodhisattva vows usually carry with them: poplar branches, ashes, three robes, a bowl, a sitting instrument, a staff, an incense burner, a box, a water filter bag, a handkerchief, a knife, flint, tweezers, rope bed, sutras, rules, Buddha statues, Bodhisattva statues.
The sutras say these eighteen items must always be carried with you. If it's not enough, you have to be fully prepared to be called a bodhisattva.
People of today, when they receive the bodhisattva precepts, only focus on the eighteen things, think they're done, carry it with them and think they're done, but it's always related to the cultivation of majesty, that great cause should not be forgotten. Great magic on the bridge to bring down, not only that!
The Pham Vong Sutra says: "The sentient beings who received the Buddha's precepts immediately entered the Buddha's throne. If you don't take this precept, there will be no difference between non-believers, wrong views, animals and herbs."
That is to know, people who do not receive the bodhisattva precepts, even if they study the Buddha's Dharma, practice asceticism diligently, and have passed through thousands of kalpas are also called living beings. Even if you want to get rid of the karma of birth and death, break the karma, achieve the Bodhi fruition, this is not possible. Although there are people who receive and then break the precepts, they are Buddhist disciples; If you don't live long, it's called a non-Buddhist, so the scriptures say: "Even though Chiem Bac flowers are withered, they are still superior to flowers, and a monk who breaks precepts is still better than non-Buddhists."
In the three gatherings of pure precepts, those who receive this bodhisattva precept will receive full retribution of Buddhahood, boundless good marks, three attainments, five eyes, ten fearless powers, all merits and virtues complete, in a single thought. of this body until he attains Buddhahood, full of eight sublime merits.
1/ The path to victory: It should be known that this bodhisattva ordained person is like an eagle that takes off and flies high, possibly up to 100,000 9000 miles. The bodhisattva who generates this precepts can pass the six paths and two vehicles, which is also the shortcut to the unsurpassed Bodhi, sitting in the ashram.
2/ Generating a winning mind: If someone in a single thought generates great compassion, great wisdom, and receives the bodhisattva precepts, he will immediately pass through the realm of the two vehicles. Once upon a time, there was a novice monk who followed an Arahant. When he went out, he suddenly had a bodhi mind and wanted to receive the bodhisattva precepts. This Arahant was reverent. He brought his own robe and bowl to make way for the novice.
3/ Excellent field of merit: Suppose someone makes offerings to great Arhats who fill the whole Jambudvipa, it is not as good as making offerings to a person who has received the bodhisattva precepts, because the other person has a great disposition.
4/ Outstanding merit: If someone takes the Hinayana precepts, it is like the light of a firefly that can only illuminate itself. Those who take the bodhisattva vows are like the sun at noon, illuminating all things.
5/ Killing the enemy: The scriptures say: After receiving the precepts, breaking the precepts is still better than the pagans with wrong views who are forever immersed in the evil path and have no time to come out. People who break the precepts, thanks to the power of the precepts, even though they are in the evil ways, the guilt is still light; if he falls in hell, he becomes king in hell; if you fall in the animal kingdom, you will be king among the animals; If you fall into a hungry ghost, you will become a king among the hungry ghosts, where you will still not lose your throne. The scriptures say: Someone who commits a crime is called a bodhisattva, because he has a precept to break. Not breaking is called an outsider because there is no precept to break.
6/ Winning pregnancy: People who receive the precepts, if they are in the womb, are often supported by gods, dragons, and good gods.
7/ Unsurpassed divine powers : People who receive the precepts because of the power of maintaining the precepts, so they often stir the river water into a bowl of happiness, turn the great earth into golden dragons, in a single thought transcend a thousand lives, in one day save innumerable sentient beings. birth.
8/ The result of winning revenge: The person who receives the precepts is the Bodhisattva, will be born in the sea of lotus flowers, will live in the dharma-nature, once he is able to attain the true truth, he will never turn back.
Those who receive the bodhisattva precepts should take the generation of bodhicitta first, and bodhicitta are the four vast vows. If you make these vows with all your heart, and sincerely respect the great precepts, then the world of no action will arise, which is called attaining the precepts. After attaining this precept, even if they meet the precepts of breaking the precepts, they will also have outstanding merit, so it is said that the monks who break the precepts are still better than the non-Buddhists. Again, if you are born anywhere, you won't lose your throne. If you don't develop a sincere and generous mind like this, but only hope for merit after breaking it, those who disregard the request for precepts will definitely not attain the precepts. What merit is there after breaking? Those who seek ordination should know this idea.
This world is not released, it's the nature, so it's called non-action. The Hinayana makes clear this point of view, that there is only one good thing that is established by the Buddhadharma, which arises from the birth of a teacher depending on the teachings of the teacher, or depends on concentration and depends on the Way. adversarial, whenever there is this, induction arises.
The Truthful Commentary is divided into a group of non-form and non-mind. Lawyers mostly rely on this matter to speak, but have not fully expressed its meaning, and Mahayana clearly states that precepts are in the form group, which means that Mahayana wishes for the highest fruition, depends on the precepts. Once a monk transmits his life, until he attains Bodhi, depending on his concentration and religion, he vows to practice good things, vows to save sentient beings, and also uses a great deal of mind to open up good precepts as a cause and condition for him. the practitioner ceases all evil deeds.
The Great Commentary says: Whether guilty or not guilty, it is impossible to keep the precepts completely, this is the precept that transcends the main body. Speech is born from the mind. From now on, if you uphold it, you will be able to eliminate the evil dharmas of body and mouth. That's called gender, which means no action. Although this non-action has no form, it has the ability to maintain and maintain, gain and loss, just like having form, so it is called false form, also called boundless form.
The Life Precepts and Yet Ma records: When the first practice of the law of death, the ten wonderful and good methods were all shaken. At the second time of performing the magic ceremony, all the wonderful and good precepts are gathered in space like clouds, like a veil over your crown. For the third time during the third session, these wonderful and wholesome precepts will be poured from the top of your door into your body and mind, full of true retribution, your body and mind, which is the place where immeasurable and boundless merits are stored.
This text is visualization, cannot be expressed in form, although there are no precepts from the outside, it cannot be called where the mind is inherently sufficient, and nothing is and is not. . Because the reason is enough, but it must depend on the conditions, so it arises.
